Using Team Chat Rooms
Quick steps:
- Click the Communicate tab.
- Locate the Live Chat section.
- Create a new or edit an existing chat room.
- While in the Live Chat Editor make sure the Team option is set to the appropriate team.
- Note: the team needs to be created first.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Exit Live Chat Editor button to return to the Communicate menu page.

You may find an occasion to limit a Live Chat room to a specific team. Be sure that you have already set up teams under the Manage tab. Once your teams are created, proceed with setting up Live Chat rooms (see Add/Edit Chat Rooms). Be sure when you enter the Live Chat Editor and are editing the Live Chat Settings to select the correct team from the drop down menu for the Team option. Be sure Viewable By is set to "Members" so your students can access it. Be sure to click the Save button and a Live Chat room accessible only by those team members will have been created.
