Add/Edit Chat Rooms
Quick steps:
- Click the Communicate tab.
- Locate the Live Chat section.
- Click on the Edit link in the section header.
- On this page you can view or edit chat rooms that have been added.
- Click Add a Live Chat on the toolbar to enter the Live Chat Editor.
- Click Save when done.
- Click the Exit Live Chat Editor button to return to the Communicate menu page.

Live Chat is a real-time communication tool.
The Live Chat rooms are located under the Communicate tab. Locate the Live Chat section and click on the Edit link.
To Add a Chat Room
From the editor toolbar, click on Add a Live Chat link
to enter the Live Chat Editor.
Options that you can set include:
Name: Specifies the name of the chat room which will appear as the link.
Description: An extended description of the room to help describe its purpose.
Tracking: If set to "ON", all posted messages will be saved so that they may be reviewed in the chat logs.
Team: Allows you to select which team can enter the Live Chat room.
Viewable By: Specifies the minimum rights that a user must have in order to access the related room.
The Start Date and End Date all you to specify the date and time when the chat will begin and end. The dates will only be effective if you have checked the appropriate check box, otherwise they have no effect.
When you have completed making your choices, click the Save button.
To Edit or Delete a Chat Room
To the left of each chat room is an Edit button which when clicked provides you with a page to edit Live Chat Settings.
Use the checkboxes, drop down menus and text fields to make your selections.
Be sure to click the Save button when done.
To Delete, click the Delete button to the left of the item. Comfirm by clicking the OK button. Click the Exit Live Chat Editor button to return to the Communicate page.
