How to Copy and Paste

  1. Pick a body of text you wish to copy and paste to another place.
  2. Place your cursor over the first letter of the first word of the chosen body of text. With your left mouse button click and hold the button down next to that letter. Now, drag your mouse down over the body of text to the last period or letter of the body of text you wish to copy and paste. Let go of your left mouse button now.
  3. This selection you just dragged over should highlight a different color now. You now need to Right Click over the highlighted area and bring up a menu. In this menu, select Copy. The text you selected is now in your copy buffer. Now we are now going to take it over to another place and paste it.
  4. Find a place you want to paste your selected body of text. This can be an email, webpage, text box, etc. If you are using ANGEL, every Quiz, Discussion Forum, Page, Dropbox, etc has an edit button. When you click this button you will see a large box on this page - this is where you paste tex to add content to the page for that item.
  5. In the area you want to paste the text, Right Click with your mouse again. The menu once again comes up, and you need to select Paste. The text area you copied should now populate the area you pasted into.
