- Click on a course from your Home page.
- Click on the Manage tab.
- Click on the Keyword Manager link under the Data Management section.
- Add a keyword and click the Add Keyword button.
- Click the Done button when finished.
The Keyword Manager helps ensure the consistent use of keywords in assessments. The Keyword Manager allows an instructor or department to use a consistent set of keywords for tagging all their assessment items.
Click on a keyword to view a list of associated questions. You can also import and export keywords from the Keyword Manager.
Features include the following:
- Pop-up Keyword Manager displays a list of all active keywords that can be selected and applied to the current assessment item.
- New keywords can be added to the keyword database on the fly.
- Keywords can be imported or exported via simple text files. This approach makes it possible for instructors or departments to share an agreed-upon set of keywords for assessment items.
- Within the Keyword Manager, simply clicking a term displays all assessment items in that course that are mapped to that keyword.
