Keyword Manager

Quick steps:

  1. Click on a course from your Home page.
  2. Click on the Manage tab.
  3. Click on the Keyword Manager link under the Data Management section.
  4. Add a keyword and click the Add Keyword button.
  5. Click the Done button when finished.

The Keyword Manager helps ensure the consistent use of keywords in assessments. The Keyword Manager allows an instructor or department to use a consistent set of keywords for tagging all their assessment items.

Click on a keyword to view a list of associated questions. You can also import and export keywords from the Keyword Manager.

Features include the following:

  1. Pop-up Keyword Manager displays a list of all active keywords that can be selected and applied to the current assessment item.
  2. New keywords can be added to the keyword database on the fly.
  3. Keywords can be imported or exported via simple text files. This approach makes it possible for instructors or departments to share an agreed-upon set of keywords for assessment items.
  4. Within the Keyword Manager, simply clicking a term displays all assessment items in that course that are mapped to that keyword.
