My ANGEL Groups

Quick steps:

  1. Navigate to your Home page.
  2. Locate the My ANGEL Groups section.
  3. On this section header, to the right is an edit button.
  4. Click on the edit button.
  5. All groups for which you are permissioned will display here. Groups with a check in the box to their left will display on your Home page.
  6. Check or uncheck appropriate groups.
  7. Check the appropriate boxes under the Advanced Settings section.
  8. Click the Save button when you have completed making your choices.

Classes aren't the only activity in which you can participate using ANGEL. You can also be included in a Group. You may have noticed a section heading entitled My ANGEL Groups on your Home page. Groups are multi-purpose areas that resemble courses in many ways. Groups are used for study groups, research, or special interest groups. The possibilities are unlimited. You will never attend a class in a group, but you may find yourself being invited to one to discuss course topics or special interests.

As you are added to a group you will either receive an email notifying you of your membership or you will simply see the group appear under your My ANGEL Groups heading.

Faculty and staff can create groups using the Create a Group link under the My ANGEL Groups section heading. The Find a Group link provides search tools to find existing groups.
